I have been in love with the outdoors since the first trip squirrel hunting with my grandfather. The solitude of the woods "untangles the knots in my rope" and regular trips ensures I am much more pleasant to be around. I have three children that like the outdoors but none of them are as nuts over it as I am. Whether it is hiking, fishing or hunting I love it all. I have three grandchildren and hope they grow up loving it as much as I do but that remains to be seen when they are older. I will sign off for now hope our trails cross in the woods or on the water one day.
I too love hunting, but it seems that I love shooting "at" animals more than actually killing them. I have a friend who missed four deer, with a gun, this past season. That makes me feel better.
